About Rebecca Hindman L.Ac.

Rebecca Hindman provides the natural therapies of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal medicine and mindfulness based exercises to help Austin clients return to a state of health so that they can experience more contentment in their lives.

Rebecca's body-mind approach to health care is informed by over 12 years in the Acupuncture field and 20 years of meditation training. After earning her bachelor's degree in Buddhist Studies from Naropa University in 1998,she completed a four year master's degree program in Chinese Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College. This enhanced Rebecca's knowledge of the body and trained her in alternative health solutions.

From her own experiences and by witnessing other's transformations, she is confident that a holistic approach enables people to return to a state of physical and mental wellness. Clients can find physical relief from conditions like allergies, physical pain, addiction withdrawal and hormonal imbalances as well as finding improvements from mental and emotional conditions like stress, anxiety and depression.

She completed a 2 year comprehensive training in the Hakomi method in December of 2012 and is now incorporating this remarkably useful approach into her treatments. She is nationally certified in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Committee of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
